I wore this red pea coat and it snowed.
In the parking lot of a fast food dive, he told me that he would never leave me;
He told me he would love me forever.
My grandmother had a coat like that, he said, and I cannot wait to introduce you
to my grandfather, and let him see your coat.

All in this moment, I knew this was different.
