New Years Fun (Children's Museum)

On the last day of 2015, my beloved boys and I hi-tailed it over to the Greensboro Children's Museum for some New Year's Fun!
 There were photo props!

There was a clown making fun, free balloon toys for the kiddos!

The Greensboro Children's Museum (GCM) is one of our FAVORITE places to go!  We purchased a year pass and it is SO worth it because my boys want to be there ALL THE TIME!

This New Year party was truly impressive! Although I don't have my own picture-proof, I did *borrow* some pictures of the day from their Facebook page!

Aerial arts performed by the ladies at Triad Aerial Arts

Bubbles and "snow" fell while the kiddos danced to the groovy music

OK, there was also the clown making balloon animals and props, a face painter, and lots of celebratory winter-props! Good stuff!

 It was lots of fun!!!

Later that evening, back at our house...
The boys enjoyed banana splits...

...and entertained us with singing and dancing in front of the Christmas tree!
 ***
Did you do anything amazing for the New Year? Do you celebrate any fun traditions?
I would love to hear all about them!

For the last two years, I have had an hourly "countdown" project for the boys to do. Each hour is met with an envelope explaining our next "mission". Some ideas from the past included:
*game hour
*build a obstacle course in the house (using string, pillows, etc.)
*bake cookies
*SING!!!!
*make and decorate party hats and props

This year we had the boys in bed by 9pm so that Big Strong Man and I could have some time together. We both fell asleep not too long after! hehe

Did you stay up all night? Do you let your littles? (Do they make it to midnight?)
