How to Set Personal Policies and Boundaries: Mini Life Reset #5, Day 1/4

Today's Mini Life Reset is all about Personal Policies/Boundaries.
And this gets me excited, ya'll!

Welcome, stop first and watch the video Muchelle made about this topic exactly. You can view it here. If you are new, you may join us today, here and now, or back up to day one, here, and start from the beginning.

Every four days, I introduce another mini life reset, guided by Muchelle B., and share personal updates, progress, plans, and goals.
You are encouraged to follow me here at gomommyblogger, and consider submitting your own story in the comments! We love tracking along with friends!

To clarify what a Personal Policy is, Muchelle says that they:
*Protect your time and your mental health.
*Help you to more easily and more confidently say "no".
*If you don't have Personal Priorities, other people's priorities will hijack your life.

Some questions she posses:
*What makes you feel bitter?
*Who are the people who overstep your boundaries?
People who consistently ask you to do what you don't want to do.
-Write out what they do/ask that violates your boundaries.
*When have I felt as though I allowed something that I shouldn't have?

Make a list of things you no longer want to accept in the next year.

**Chose How You Desire To Life Your Own Life** -you get to choose!

Um, does this sound exactly like Rachel Hollis, ya'll? It is possible this is a direct quote of hers...

Have a Strong Why- it's yours! You do not need to justify it to anyone else.

Write down what to do if  WHEN someone tries to overstep that personal policy.
Write down their possible reaction and how you plan to respond to their response.
HAVE A GAME PLAN.

I'll return for Day 2/4 on this Personal Policies Mini Life Reset Challenge with my personal lists. Today, let's all be encouraged to take a few minutes and think through these questions. For the sake of our time and mental health, as well as our finances, our energy, and our passions.

In the meantime, let me share one RESOUNDING tidbit I will harp on later, a Personal Policy of mine with a capital "P"- Pyramid Businesses and Direct Sales. Yikes!
