Step two: Environment:
"How can I design my space so that I do more of what I want to do and less of what I don't?"
Here, I think dividing into categories makes the most sense:
*fitness
*resources: time/finances/energy
*leisure
*commitments
Fitness:
*To have my work out clothing in a more visible location= motivation and reminders.
*To get one pair of sneakers really clean so I can wear them in the house whilst exercising.
*Have a running list of Podcasts/ vlogs/ etc. I would like to hear in a playlist so that I can push play and go.
*Get outside more with family. Walk neighborhood. Rec Center. Scavenger hunts. Walking, running, biking.
Resources:
*Continue organizing our "home work station". Having this set-up will help to keep items in check and decrease clutter and the Overwhelm.
*Work with someone to get on a budget/ accountability.
*Prioritize sleep- set reminder alerts to prep for bed. Phone after 10 is for checking alarms only.
*Limit time for television, phone, computer. Limit MY OWN time.
*Cancel television-esq. subscriptions???
*Put my latest read in highly visible locations. Keep calendar book, bullet journal, and latest book in a pouch for easy accessibility and carry-along.
*DO NOT TAKE PHONE INTO THE BATHROOM...IT IS A BLACK HOLE OF TIME LOSS!!
*Keep "family game night" priority. Likewise, "down time" for reading, writing, or other quite activities.
*Get outside more with family.
Leisure:
*Stick to specific times for exercise/ blogging/ etc. Have specific locations: the dining room table, the living room.
*Treat these like actual, not neglectable, appointments on my calendar. Keep a log?
*Chose current goals and allow the others to sit awhile. Be realistic. Re-evaluate periodically.
*Offer myself grace but keep to the goals. Incentives?
*Prep devotionals in a running list so that there is always something to look forward to.
*Have specific times for mindless you-tube watching: blow drying hair, and doing dishes.
*Likewise, specific times for checking email, Facebook, etc.
*Blankets, pillows, and cushions back WHERE THEY BELONG first thing on Saturday morning after our Friday Night Family Sleepover.
Commitments:
*Re-evaluate everything. And often.
*Set end-dates into motion once they are realized.
*Prayer.
*Don't add anything more until something has ended!!

Do your lists look similar to mine in any way, or entirely different?
Feel free to share (sharing means caring, ya'll!) and I will be happy to respond back with some encouragement!
All the best!!
